With the Tropical Americas replacing DinoLand, U.S.A. and the It’s Tough to Be a Bug show shutting to make way for a Zootopia show, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is undergoing some significant changes right now. This indicates that there aren’t many attractions available at the moment!

When we took a check at the Animal Kingdom wait times from Monday, April 28th, we observed that they were rather high for Animal Kingdom, especially compared to a few months earlier. The other attractions are bearing the brunt of the visitors since two wait-time attractions, TriceraTop Spin and It’s Tough to Be a Bug, have closed.

Before the latest renovations, it was quite easy to board rides like DINOSAUR and Expedition Everest, but now most of the wait times are in the 45+ minute range. There is, however, a small bit of good news.

People have started to approach Animal Kingdom even more as a half-day park because there are so few attractions there. This indicates that wait times tend to decrease in the afternoon, usually after 2:00 or 3:30 PM. Go to Animal Kingdom later in the day if you want to ride rides one after the other quickly!
