A trip to Walt Disney World is no easy task. People can spend months planning this type of vacation to ensure everything goes well, and it takes a lot of effort and money. In addition to making sure that everything on your to-do list is genuinely open, everyone wants to make sure they don’t miss anything new at Disney World.

Unexpected events may cause Disney World rides to abruptly close. To help avoid those unforeseen shutdowns, ride closures are typically arranged well in advance. The good news is that everything that will be closed on your future trip can be avoided, or at least known about. Here is a list of all the things that are currently planned to shut down in the near and distant future.

Due to limited guest capacity, not all of Walt Disney World’s attractions reopened with the parks when it reopened after the pandemic. The Columbia House in Liberty Square was one well-known restaurant that did not reopen. Due of social alienation, the structure was utilized for attractions with longer lines. The Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, which served the Columbia House menu, closed when Columbia House reopened in August 2021. The venue is still closed for regular business throughout the day, however it has reopened for special dessert party events. We anticipate that it will reopen eventually because it is still officially a temporary closure.
