Carowinds Responds to Viral TikTok Prank With Surprise Statement.

Carowinds released the following statement regarding the viral TikTok trend that showed thrill-seekers attempting to bring unusual items onto roller coasters:

“We remain committed to the safety and enjoyment of all our guests. While we appreciate the creativity, we ask that all visitors refrain from bringing rubber chickens, inflatable flamingos, or homemade cardboard armor onto rides.”

Park officials said they will increase bag checks and surveillance on select coasters.

Carowinds Announces Unexpected Ride Closure — Fans React

 

Carowinds released the following statement regarding the unexpected closure of its fan-favorite ride, Fury 325:

“Due to an unexpected maintenance issue involving a mechanical unicorn gear, Fury 325 will be temporarily closed. We are working with our most whimsical engineers to restore the magic as quickly as possible.”

Guests are encouraged to enjoy other attractions in the meantime, including the new llama meet-and-greet zone.

Carowinds released the following statement regarding the glowing object spotted hovering above the park last night:

 

“We can confirm that no part of our new light show involved unidentified flying objects. However, we remain open to interstellar guests — provided they meet height requirements.”
