In September 2024, Field Gulls hired John Tapia as a staff writer. Greetings from SB Nation Reacts, an NFL fan survey. Every week, we pose questions to the nation’s most passionate NFL fans.
The NFL Draft season has passed in what feels like a flash. Supporters of the Seattle Seahawks urged the team to strengthen its faltering offensive line for the most of the summer. This desire for an offensive lineman increased after the Seahawks only signed backup-level talent to the position after starting left guard Laken Tomlinson left in free agency. Given this, it is not surprising that the vast majority of Seahawks supporters who responded to the survey thought highly of the team’s selection of Grey Zabel in the first round of the draft. 94% of Seahawks supporters who participated in the survey gave the 18th overall a grade of A or B, with 71% giving it an A, 23% a B, and only 6% a C or below.
