Days of Our Lives’ Fans Think These Beloved Stars Are Returning.

Fans of Days of Our Lives are some of the most diligent detectives when it comes to looking for clues about their favorite soap opera, and this time they might have figured out that two beloved characters are returning to the Peacock streaming soap opera.

Fans were excited and first put on high alert last year when Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers, who play Eli and Lani Grant, both appeared at the official fan event Day of Days as seen on the soap’s official Instagram.

Months later, fans then spotted both Archey and Stowers on the official Days of Our Lives Instagram post celebrating the Super Bowl. Fans were left puzzled as to why Archy and Stowers were on set, when no filming announcement had been made.

Weeks later the Instagram account in celebrating Black History Month interviewed Archey, whose pairing made Days of Our Lives history in 2020 when they became the first African American couple to be married on the series after 54 years.

Viewers last saw Eli and Lani at the end of 2024, when the pair wrapped their limited run return, after the characters returned for the soap’s tribute to Bill Hayes and his character of Doug Williams as well as the soaps milestone 15,000th episode.

The audience will have to stay tuned to Days of Our Lives to see if Archey and Stowers will join the growing list of returns as the soap plans its 60th anniversary celebration later this year.

Additionally the viewers noticed that the soap wished both Archey and Stowers a Happy Birthday on social media, something traditionally reserved for active cast members.
